A Final Surgery

So I hopefully will be having my final cancer-related surgery this Tuesday, the 13th, to remove my Mediport! I'm so excited to finally be able to say good-bye to what has almost become a part of me. Please pray that everything goes smoothly and quickly!

I've posted some pictures from my stay at the hospital when I had my biopsy!

This lovely big bear was waiting for me when I went to my room after surgery, a gift from my wonderful Child Life Specialist Lisa, and Art Therapist Michelle (note the duck tape slid up on his arm...) A lot of stuff to brighten my day!!

Sunday afternoon found my room very crowded, with my family and Sheilka and Vijimama.  Dad had brought some delicious Indian food, so we had a party in my room!
